Job Description:

The Presales professional will exceed the set pre-sales objectives of the assigned territory through solution architecting and supporting the sales function, thereby co-owing the revenue targets. The incumbent shall be responsible and accountable for all the pre-sales activities with customer facing skills being a non-negotiable pre-requisite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for understanding the business and technology challenges of the customer and articulating a functional and technical storyboarding
  • Conduct pre-sales product/solutions presentations and demonstrations
  • Managing pre-sales and drafting the overall techno-functional proposals
  • Acquire thorough knowledge of the products and be customer facing within a quarter from the date of recruitment
  • Co-ordinate with technical services/delivery team for solutions articulation and feasibility
  • Responding to online bids / RFI(s) / RFP(s) well within deadlines
  • Prepare/write customer proposals and tender response
  • Creating and updating proposal templates and proposal material in a timely manner
  • Preparing and reviewing customized reports that go to senior management and other stakeholders periodically.
  • Coordinating sales strategy, technical design, project management, commercial input, authorization and formal document production and negotiations.

Desired Skills:

  • Candidates with Engineering (CS/ECE/IT) preferred. MBA in marketing would be an added advantage
  • Knowledge of e-Learning standards and processes preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT solutions and presales.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, which involves the ability to articulate clearly to the various stakeholders at the appropriate time using the relevant medium
  • Proven track record of supporting sales in achieving their quota
  • Experienced in moving opportunities through the sales cycle in terms of proposing and presenting the solutions
  • Willingness to travel extensively, as and when required
  • Should be able to work as an Individual contributor
